Dr. McNulty is a professor at Towson University, where she teaches various theory and methods courses in the College of Education. Her teaching and research focus on the intersections of art, social justice, and public education. She explores how the arts serve as a form of literacy that challenges traditional classroom learning and dominant narratives. She has worked in public school contexts for over 25 years. Books include The Left Handed Curriculum and The Activists Handbook for the Education Revolution. She has authored or co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed articles and 20 book chapters.
