2025 year end appeal

Dear Featherstone Friend,

As autumn gives way to slower days and we take time to reflect upon 2025, we are incredibly grateful for our students, instructors, visitors, and supporters. This year has been lively, creative, and joyous here at Featherstone! We thank you for your participation and support, making the work we do possible.

This year also marks two anniversaries for the Featherstone team. Fifteen years ago, Ann was named Executive Director, and ten years ago, Posie joined the organization. Together, we have watched the campus expand, welcomed new visitors to the gallery, increased course and summer camp offerings, and branched out with more collaborations and partnerships. We are proud of how Featherstone has grown while staying true to our mission to engage, enrich, and connect our community through the power of art and creativity.

Featherstone’s wide variety of classes and educational experiences offer creative outlets for people of all ages and abilities. The Francine Kelly Gallery provides a space for Island artists to showcase their work and connect both with patrons and each other. After-hours, the gallery walls serve as a vibrant backdrop for artist talks, literary events, and musical performances. We are honored to provide a year-round hub for collaborative opportunities for Island artists, residents, and visitors. Through the arts we find voice, joy, growth, and well-being.

We look forward to celebrating Featherstone’s 30th anniversary in 2026. Our continued success depends on the generosity of advocates and champions like you, who understand that the arts are an essential and vital part of everyday life. As we embark on this exciting next chapter, help us continue to be a place where creativity flourishes and community grows by making a year-end gift today.
