A Flower Arranging Demonstration
with Kim Cutler and Sarah Ribeiro

Day: Saturday, May 19
Time: 2:00 – 4:00 pm
Fee: $35 per person

Worcester Art Museum's Flora in Winter chairs Kim Cutler and Sarah Ribeiro hope to bring flower power from Worcester, MA to the Vineyard. Using tried and true techniques and giving away a few design secrets, they will create eight live floral arrangements while you watch. Four of the designs will be focused on dramatic but simple techniques, and four will be more complex and trendy. All the designs will be raffled off at the end of the demonstration for guests to take home. Questions will be encouraged.

Kim and Sarah have been friends for 35 years and share many interests. Both are potters, both have been docents at the Worcester Art Museum, and both are active gardeners and flower arrangers. They enter every flower show they can and their work has been found in the MFA, Tower Hill, Worcester Art Museum, and Boston, Providence and Newport flower shows. Both have won blue ribbons and specialty awards for their designs at these venues. In addition, this year they were humbled to receive the Barbara Spaulding Cramer Award for Floral Design Education from the Garden Club of America.
